Stone Tumbling Machine
INTRODUCTION
The tumbling machine is used for marble, granite, limestone, mosaic stone and sandstone aging look making，After the finishing process they look like have been for years of history. You can process tiles size from 300X300mm to 1000X1000mm by choose different models of tumbling machine from MACTOTEC.
When the motor spindle rotates at high speed, the unbalanced load will generate centrifugal force and tilting moment, the container will vibrate regularly through the spring, and at the same time, it will also cause the abrasive and tiles in the chamber to vibrate regularly,The regular vibration of the chamber causes a relative grinding movement between the abrasive pieces and tiles, thus removing the burrs from the tiles, and at the same time rounding the sharp edges and polishing the surfaces of the tiles.
Machine are consists of two vibratory motors, tumbling chamber , pedestal springs and basement. The vibratory motor is connected with the chamber by means of bolts and then together they are installed on the compression springs linked to the basement. Two vibrating motors fixed sideways, equipped with adjustable weights,providing stable vibratory force.
The special designed spiral spring mounting allows the tumbling container to be completely detached from the basement. Large, easily accessible hatches facilitate equipment adjustment and maintenance. Special shock-absorbing legs can minimize reduce vibration transmission to the floor.
The Whole machine body are build by high rigid and load-bearing steel plates, And inner of vessel surface lined with PU Lining which is abrasion-resistant, acid and alkali- resisting, avoid scaring the parts’ surface and reduce noises.
Apply dividing panels to create independent treatment areas inside the chamber, possible to process delicate components or components of different lots. And chamber separated by panels so that the processing materials will not hit each other and damage themselves.
Realizing automation through electronic controlling system and greatly improve work efficiency in stone surface finishing.
